I played the bass guitar for years before I discovered the instrument's transcendent capabilities.
Dub music revealed to me the mystical power that lives within the low frequency notes of the Bass.
I remember coming home from an all-night rave. I was exhausted, but not sleepy. I decided to listen to a dub album after hearing someone talk about dub music the night before.
While listening, I found myself in a trance brought on by the hypnotic pulse of the bass guitar. I instantly became a believer in the power of the bass.
Since then, I have dedicated myself to the study of dub, trip hop and psychedelic blues music. I find satisfaction in crafting seductive bass lines that provide heady experiences for listeners.
